- NetAuditor

The NetAuditor is TantaComm’s newest addition to its line of call center software and hardware products. Designed exclusively for call center recording, the NetAuditor uses all of the powerful features of the Auditor PCI based card and incorporates them into an extremely flexible network appliance. This approach frees the recording hardware from the confines of its associated server and related hardware dependencies. Once the recording hardware becomes an independent component of the call recording platform, the following possibilities are realized;

1. Up to ten NetAuditors (960 channels) can be supported by a single 2U server.
2. The failure on any single card does not require opening the server, hence
    systems can be maintained during production.
3. With appropriate network bandwidth, the NetAuditor and the server do
    have to be co-located (distributed recording, centralized server)
4. On line redundancy becomes simpler and less expensive, as a NetAuditor
    is able to connect to a specified alternate server should the primary become unavailable.
5. Any catastrophic failure of a single card cannot bring down the server.

The NetAuditor is a compact, ruggedized unit with no moving parts of any kind.
It small size, 1 x 5.5 x 10.5 inches, can either be used in a free standing environment
or mounted in gangs of three using TantaComm’s 1U rack adapter. The unit is powered
by a single 48 volt power supply and uses a mere 13 watts of power.

The major features of the NetAuditor include the following,

1. Record inputs for four T1/E1 spans.
2. Real-time hardware compression of 96 simultaneous TDM channels.
3. Secure high compression, 4.8 kilobit codec.
4. 10/100 network interface, full TCP stack.
5. Active mode permits T1/E1 termination for single step conference
    and service observe applications.
6. ISDN PRI decoding for autonomous logging applications.
