Protect is a suite of solutions designed to ensure the integrity and security of recorded interactions and to enable BPOs to meet the 12 PCI-DSS requirements.  These solutions offer TantaComm’s clients the freedom and flexibility to select an approach that best aligns with their internal compliance interpretation, pre-existing infrastructure, and budget resources.  As part of its foundational Capture product, TantaComm encrypts each interaction.  SafeNet Data Secure, TantaCrypt and Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) offer an additional level of encryption for organizations whose business requirements demand it.

SafeNet Data Secure

  • Provides key encryption security across all touch points including applications, databases and networks
  • Co-developed software in conjunction with recognized industry expert, SafeNet
  • Offers a full suite of security offerings beyond call recording
  • Utilizes a hardened box for a storage location
  • Provides a platform that allows for expansion into areas beyond call recording, pending a customer’s business needs

TantaCrypt

  • Serves as a cost effective key encryption alternative to SafeNet that leverages a subset of the SafeNet solution specific to call recording
  • Utilizes a similar footprint and design as SafeNet Data Secure
  • Integrates seamlessly with the TantaComm platform
  • Highly scalable to a client’s infrastructure and needs
  • Guarantees that every file is encrypted with a unique key
  • Utilizes a Linux server for storage location

TDE (Transparent Data Encryption)

  • Encrypts individual media keys in raw format; the unique media key and the data file are separated to offer a different encryption structure
  • Places the media key in raw format into a database apart from the data file where it cannot be seen or accessed
  •  Allows the client to avoid using a separate physical cluster
  • Requires the use of a MS SQL database for media key storage
  • A more cost effective, file level encryption alternative compared to SafeNet Data Secure and TantaCrypt
